Lucky Red Casino Review

Are you American? Are you looking to join an online casino?

Then you might consider Lucky Red Casino. They use Real Time Gaming software, which means 120+ games, Flash software (for Macs), and a dozen or so mobile games compatible with Android and iOS devices.

You can also participate in the following promotions:

400% Match Bonus – This is for slots players. Lucky Red is offering to match your deposit 400% up to $4,000. What that means is for every $1 you deposit, Lucky Red will give you $4 to play with. Take advantage of the entire bonus and you’ll have a $5,000 bankroll. This has a 30x play through requirement, and can only be used for slots, keno and scratch cards.

Not a slots player? Neither am I. So try this offer instead:

100% Table Game Bonus – This is a 100% match up to $1,000. Use this bonus for table games except for baccarat, craps, war, sic bo and roulette. There is a 30x play through, except not every game you play will contribute 100% to the bonus. Depending on the game you’ll have to wager anywhere from 2.5x to 10x (75x to 300x).

Those are the best offers for new accounts. But existing players can participate in one of these promotions:

  • Monday – 25% cash back or unlimited 65% cash back on slots.
  • Tuesday – 70% slots reload bonus (up to 5x).
  • Wednesdays – 66% match bonus up to $1,000.
  • Thursdays – Deposit more than $200 and get a 75% match bonus.
  • Friday – Get a 77% match bonus up to $777. This is for slots only.
  • Saturday – Deposit $30 and get a $50 bonus.
  • Sunday – Get an unlimited 70% match bonus.

You’ll want to read the terms before signing up.

What Games Can You Play at Lucky Red Casino?

Lucky Red uses Real Time Gaming software. That means you’ll have 120+ games to choose from, about ¾ of that in the download.

Here is a breakdown of all the games you can play:

  • Video Slots – There are 6 games including titles like Mid-Life Crisis and Food Fight.
  • 3-Reel Classics – This includes the titles, Bank On It and Triple 7 Inferno.
  • Bonus 3-Reel – There are 4 titles here.
  • Reel Series Slots – You have more than 60 different titles to pick from.
  • Video Poker – You have 10 options. This includes Jacks or Better, Loose Deuces, Aces and Eights, Sevens Wild and All American.
  • Progressive Jackpots – There are 11 progressives to choose from. This includes Caribbean Holdem, Caribbean Stud, Let Em Ride and Crazy Dragon.
  • Table Games – This includes Blackjack, Super 21, Baccarat, War, Tri-Card Poker and Pai Gow.
  • Specialty – This includes Keno, American and European Roulette, Craps, Sic Bo and Lucky 8s.

The stakes usually vary from $1 to $250 for table games, sometimes $500. Video poker starts at a nickel and slots a penny per line.

And they don’t mention it on their site – in fact, most Real Time Gaming casinos don’t – but Lucky Red has a mobile site. Just visit the casino from your mobile device and they’ll redirect you to it.

You can choose from 19 games – 18 games are slots and 1 is blackjack. I checked it out on my iPad and iPhone – they should be compatible on Android too.

Overall, they have a solid selection of games. The thing that sticks out to me, though, is that sites like Bovada and have RTG games and BetSoft’s 3D games. So I kind of wish that Lucky Red did too.

Our Final Word

There are a couple of things that I don’t care for.

Lucky Red Casino uses a .com domain extension. This increases your risk factor by a couple of points since the United States (and more specifically, the DOJ) can intervene. It would be much better if they used a .eu, .lv or .ag extension.

I don’t care for their play through requirements for the table games bonuses. They can do better than 75-300x.

Other than that, though, they have a solid selection of games, accept US players and have min. and max deposit thresholds that will meet anyone’s budget. Get an account at first, then maybe consider checking these guys out.
